Raging Grannies are caring older women who use song to protest and raise awareness of the issues of Peace, the environment and social justice. Satirical and serious, they are politically conscious but non-partisan.
The Raging Grannies write their own material -- satirical lyrics set to familiar melodies. Dressed in eye catching hats and “Granny” clothes, they sing wherever and whenever they can; at peace and environment rallies, in schools, in places where the public congregate.
